Panaji: The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) today issued a show cause notice to Vasudev Parab , whose industrial unit M/s Vijay Industries at Pissurlem was raided by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI).
In a raid conducted last week, DRI had seized 100kg of banned ketamine drug from the site.
IDC managing director Narayan Gad said that the notice is been issued to Parab asking him as why his industrial plot should not be taken back for conducting the illegal activities including illegal subleasing of plot.
“Parab has been asked to respond to the notice within 15 days of the receipt,” he said.
As per IDC records, the 1200 sq mtrs plot was allotted to M/s Vijay Industries for production of mild steel and stainless steel fabrication.
