Dona Paula: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said that he would return back to the state in next few weeks from the USA where he is currently taking treatment.
Parrikar, 62, released video message during the party workers’ meeting in Panaji today which was addressed by BJP National President Amit Shah.
“I am not there amongst you all for last two months as I am taking the treatment. I will be back in Goa in next few weeks to be amongst you,” the chief minister said through the pre-recorded video message. He said that because of his health condition, he could not attend the workers’ meeting.
Parrikar appealed the workers to get ready for 2019 Lok Sabha elections to ensure party’s victory in both the constituencies. He said that the country needs Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister again after the Lok Sabha polls.
