Panaji : Last week’s Ganesh festive season saw heavy rainfall across north and south Goa districts. However from 15th September to 19th September India Meteorological Department (IMD) Goa has issued no weather warning.
Public had to face inconvenience due to rains in the last few days especially during the Ganpati idol immersion.
IMD Goa has recorded 24Hrs Rainfall in millimetres on 15th September 2021 at different stations in Goa. Pernem recorded 55.8mm, Mapusa 8.4mm, Sankhelim 6.4mm, Panaji 4.7mm, Old Goa 15mm, Marmugao 0.4mm, Dabolim 1.4mm, Margao 1.1mm, Quepem 4.2mm, Sanguem 7.3 while Canacona recorded 8.6mm rainfall.
