GVL EMRI 108 Ambulance service to train every family with first responder training: Vishwajit Rane

Panaji: After providing free Ambulance services through state government supported initiative, the GVK EMRI 108 services have embarked upon the mission to educate each member of the family to administer first aid training.

State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said on Sunday that each of the family members would be trained to administer first aid to the patient.

GVK EMRI 108 is currently running free Ambulance service in the coastal state in association with the state Health Department.

Rane tweeted “GVK EMRI 108 services is providing a first of its kidn training to each emmber of the family to administer first aid training to patients during an emergency. With this we aim to strengthen the change of survival in the family.”

Stating that the company will train first responders through their initiative, Rane said in another tweet “A first responder is the first person at the scene during a medical emergency. He/She activates the medical emergency system by performing life saving techniques with minimal equipment until a medical professional arrives.”
