Panaji: Minister for department of Women and Child Development Vishwajit Rane today said department through Goa State Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) will construct 100 modern anganwadis across State.
Minister said that Government has taken a decision to construct 100 odern Anganwadis with all facilities such as kitchen, toilet, store room etc, across State and that MLAs and local bodies help in identifying the land. “We are in process of signing MoU with GSIDC for construction of anganwadis,” he said.
MGP MLA Deepak Pawaskar had raised the issue of poor status of anganwadis, operating from private premises.
