Panaji: A day after dates for by-elections were announced, Goa Suraksha Manch (GSM) announced names of Santosh Satarkar for Shiroda and Swaroop Naik for Mandrem by-polls.
The by-elections in three assembly constituencies- Shiroda, Mandrem and Mapusa will be held on April 23 along with Lok Sabha polls. The counting will take place on May 23.
Addressing press conference, GSM chief Subhash Velingkar said that they have finalize names of Santosh Satarkar for Shiroda and Swaroop Naik for Mandrem by-elections. He said that the decision on Mapusa seat is yet to be taken.
Velingkar said that the party will also fight the Lok Sabha elections, candidates for which would be announced shortly.
