Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Thursday said that the coastal state should be the capital of Sanatan Dharma.
Speaking to reporters after attending a public meeting at the Poriem constituency in North Goa, Rane said that the process to establish Sanatan Dharma will start from Sattari and Usgao, the areas in his Assembly constituency of Valpoi.
BJP Goa President Damodar Naik and Poriem MLA Dr. Deviya Rane were present for the public function. Naik was felicitated during the function on his appointment as Goa BJP President.
Rane told reporters that it is high time that Sanatan Dharma should be established in Goa. The minister supported the Waqf Bill, which was tabled in Parliament.
Speaking further, he said that he, along with his other colleagues, has been working to take the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the grassroots level.
He said that the Modi government’s policies have benefited the common man in the biggest way.
