Panaji: Goa on Wednesday reported 201 fresh cases taking the total number of COVID-19 infections in the state to 248540.
As per the State Health Department’s bulletin, 201 new infections were reported on Wednesday taking the toll to 2,48,540.
As many as 151 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day on Wednesday, taking the count of recoveries to 2,43,720, while the death toll remained at 3,838 with no new deaths reported.
The state now has 982 active cases, he said.
At least 1361 swab samples were tested on Wednesday, taking the total number of tests carried out in the state to 19,79,873.
