Panaji: Goa on Tuesday reported 168 fresh cases taking the total number of COVID-19 infections in the state to 248339.
As per the State Health Department’s bulletin, 168 new infections were reported on Tuesday taking the toll to 2,48,339.
As many as 156 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day on Tuesday, taking the count of recoveries to 2,43,569, while the death toll touched 3,838 with three new deaths, the official said.
The state now has 932 active cases, he said.
At least 1381 swab samples were tested on Tuesday, taking the total number of tests carried out in the state to 19,78,512.
