Panaji: Goa on Wednesday reported 156 fresh cases taking the total number of COVID-19 infections in the state to 247520.
As per the State Health Department’s bulletin, 156 new infections were reported on Wednesday taking the toll to 2,47,520.
As many as 82 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day on Wednesday, taking the count of recoveries to 2,42,821, while the death toll remained at 3,833 with no new deaths, the official said.
The state now has 866 active cases, he said.
At least 1222 swab samples were tested on Wednesday, taking the total number of tests carried out in the state to 19,71,691.
