Panaji: Goa on Sunday reported 112 fresh cases taking the total number of COVID-19 infections in the state to 248041.
As per the State Health Department’s bulletin, 112 new infections were reported on Sunday taking the toll to 2,48,041.
As many as 78 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day on Sunday, taking the count of recoveries to 2,43,278, while the death toll touched 3,835 with two new deaths, the official said.
The state now has 928 active cases, he said.
At least 950 swab samples were tested on Sunday, taking the total number of tests carried out in the state to 19,76,222.
