Panaji: Goa Police are contemplating to issue fines for violating motor vehicle act to celebrity Choreographers Remo D’Souza and Salman Y Khan after they uploaded their videos riding on a bridge in Goa, which were banned for two-wheeler movement.
Both the choreographers had posted their videos on a social media site Instagram this week while riding on Atal Sethu, a bridge over River Mandovi connecting Panaji to Porvorim sub-urban locality.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Salim Sheikh said that the department has taken cognizance of the Motor Vehicle Act violation by both the choreographers.
“We are on search of the bikes which are seen in the video. The challans would be issued to the choreographers once we get the details of the bikes,” he said.
Atal Sethu, which was inaugurated by then Chief minister Manohar Parrikar, does not allow riding of two-wheelers on it.
