Ponda: Keeping up its promise to have at least one minister from his party to visit Ponda constituency once a month, Goa Forward Party today had its leader and minister Jayesh Salgaonkar touring the constituency during the day.
Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai had assured on August 5 after inaugurating Ponda office of the party that at least one minister from the party would visit the constituency once a month.
Salgaonkar today toured Ponda Constituency along with Ponda leader Rajesh Verenkar , GF Vice President Durgadas Kamat, Sarpanch Santan Fernandes and others.
During his visit to Curti-Khandepar panchayat many projects were proposed to him by the elected representatives.
These projects includes Panchayat Ghar at Curti Khandepar , Construction of Hall Near Ram Nakteshwar Temple Curti, Construction of shed and development work surrounding existing stage near Shri Sateri Devastan in survey No 13/3 khandepar
and Construction of hall at betal temple at khandepar
Salgaonkar has assured to look into all matters raised today on Priority. He said that GF works for the people.
“We are in the government so that we can serve the people and complete the projects on time,” he added.
The minister also visited Housing Board and assured to solve the grievances raised by residents of Housing Board on Priority.
