Panaji: Goa Forward Party Vice President Durgadas Kamat today filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime against the doctored video of party leader and minister Vijai Sardesai.
The complaint lodged with the cyber crime states that “the video clip is being made viral through social media which shows Sardesai talking to a lady at SGPDA Fish Market. The conversation were about the stalls at the market.”
“The video which is edited with the words like “Vijai Abusing Fish Seller Lady and Other Goans” “Vijay is not only a Fotting but a crook and a Abuser” “Stop Abusing Goans” “Fot Fotting Fottingpon” is being circulated in the social media,” he said.
The complaint further says : entire shooting of the video and its circulation has been to defame the minister and stop him from undertaking the developmental and social work. It is also to stop him from doing his duty as a minister.
“We request your good self to investigate into the source of this video and interrogate the person for his or her anti-social activities and anti-national activities by indulging into the act of defaming the minister unnecessarily,” he said.
“The case should be booked under relevant section of cyber crime. We are ready to provide the viral video which has come to us through different sources and the mobile numbers which have circulated the edited malicious clips,” the complaint adds.
Meanwhile, Savera NGO has filed a complaint with Women’s police station against Sardesai accusing him of outraging modesty of a woman.
