Panaji: Goa CM congratulates Rekha Gupta on being sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Delhi following the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) decisive victory in the state elections.
Sawant attended the swearing-in ceremony in New Delhi, which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, chief ministers of BJP-governed states, and leaders of the NDA.
While congratulating Gupta, Sawant emphasized that this victory is a testament to the people’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Sawant expressed confidence that under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s dynamic leadership, Delhi will witness rapid infrastructural advancements, economic growth, and a citizen-centric governance model.
With BJP’s governance model at the core, Delhi is now set for a new phase of growth led by a double-engine government, he said.
Sawant reiterated that states across India, including Goa and Delhi, will continue to work in synergy to achieve the larger vision of national progress and prosperity.
