Sindhudurg: Maharashtra MLA Deepak Kesarkar has said that Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant has agreed to supply oxygen from Verna to Sindhudurg as the supplies from Kolhapur and Raigad has become difficult.
As per the report in Marathi daily Tarun Bharat, Kesarkar said that Sindhudurg has necessary supplies of Oxygen, but if there is emergency situation, Goa CM Pramod Sawant has agreed to provide it from the plant at Verna.
He said that the district hospitals has to keep the resources ready.
Kesarkar said that he had personally spoken to Sawant who has assured the supplies. He said that the CM has also instructed the officials about it.
The MLA said that such an action is welcome as we have to fight covid unitedly by hand holding each other.
