Goa BJP to organize series of events to mark Modi govt’s 4 yrs

Panaji: The Goa BJP unit has organized series of events like mass contact programmes across all 40 assembly constituencies to mark four years of Narendra Modi led government at the Centre.

The programmes under Jan Sampark Abhiyan will be held from May 26 to June 11.

Addressing a press conference today evening, BJP general secretary Sadanand Tanawade said that Modi government at the Centre completes four years in power on Saturday and as such various programmes are organized across country by the party to mark the celebration.

“The BJP has decided to reach out to the people highlighting the various developments and initiatives of Modi government,” Tanawade said.

He said in Goa too there will be various programmes like vishesh samparkh abhiyan, Labharati Sammelan in North and South Goa, Budhi Jivi Samelan, cleanliness drive, senior citizen abhiyan and motorbike rallies across seven talukas.

Tanawade said that party will reach out to the key voters like religious heads with success stories of four years of Modi led government.

“We will be meeting the Archbishop, Hindu religious heads and mawlawi’s in the State and highlight the support the Modi government has given to Goa as far as development and other initiatives are concerned,” Tanawade said.

Tanawade said that several central leaders are also expected to be in Goa to address people.
