Panaji: Goa Mining People’s Front (GMPF) will be holding a corner meeting of all the mining dependents at Sanvordem on February 18 at 4 p,.
The meeting would be held near Government Primary School, Sanvordem.
The organizers have said that the agenda for the meeting will be to create awareness about the status of Mining restart, solultion for it and also hindrances that can be expected.
The speakers will also speak about “negative role played by NGO Goa Foundation to destroy the livelihood by getting into the way for a solution to restart mining for our livelihood.”
Sarpanchs of Sanvordem and surrounding villages in South Goa and representative of various Truck owner associations and workers unions are expected to lead the talks about the awareness.
