Panaji: Goa Government Employees Association (GGEA) in a letter to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today has demanding implementation of VIIth Pay Commission to the State owned autonomous bodies and corporations.
“The employees working in various autonomous bodies and corporations were expecting that the revised pay scales under the Seventh Central Pay Commission would be implemented to them soon after their counterparts in government departments get the benefit as per the tradition/ practices followed in the State.” GGEA President John Nazareth said in the letter
He said, “Considering the delay in implementation of VIIth Pay Commission to the autonomous bodies and corporation, discontent is brewing amongst the employees who are now grouping and insisting that this organisation give a call of protest.”
