Panaji: With unpleasant experience during the recent power shut down, Electricity department has asked its officers to be on guard during upcoming FIFA world cup matches.
This is what Chief Electrical Engineer Neelkanth Reddy has said in the circular “You are aware that FIFA World Cup 2018 (Russia) commences on 14/06/2018 and closes on15/7/2018 and there would be a great deal of enthusiasm among football lovers throughout the State to get an uninterrupted view of the matches being telecasted live between 7.30 am to 11.30 pm IST.”
