Porvorim: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today announced to put up portraits of five former Chief Ministers, who are no more, in the Secretariat
Sawant told House that portraits of Goa’ s first Chief Minister Dayanand Bandodkar, Shashikala Kakodkar, Luis Proto Barbosa, Dr Wilfred D’Souza and Manohar Parrikar, would be put up.
Former Chief Minister and Congress senior MLA Pratapsingh Rane had moved the private member resolution, recommending that government puts up large size portraits of CMs, who are no more, and have contributed towards welfare and development of the State.
