Mapusa: Former Aldona MLA Glenn Ticlo said that accused involved in Bastora couple assault case would be punished.
Responding to the allegations about involvement of BJP leader in the attack, Ticlo said that the party will not tolerate such attack.
“What has happened is totally unfortunate and disgusting. Such an attack should not be tolerated. Every possible thing would be done to ensure that the action is taken. I am sure that CM Pramod Sawant will take all the necessary action,” he said.
Ticlo said that even if someone is BJP worker, we don’t shield them. There is no protection from the party. The couple was attacked and accused are arrested, he added.
“There are more people who are on the run. Police have formed the teams and they would be nabbed as soon as possible,” he said.
Ticlo said that BJP will not tolerate such non sense. The party at centre and also Pramod Sawant government is very clear that whoever has done this would be punished.
