Porvorim: Board of Directors of EDC Ltd led by Chairman Sidharth Kuncalienker met Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today.
Vice Chairman Santosh Kenkre and Sandip Bhandare, who is also GCCI president, were part of the delegation.
The delegation was also accompanied by Managing Director of EDC Kiran Ballikar and other senior officials.
Main aim of the delegation was to handover to the CM all suggestions/ideas collected for ‘Generation of Employment Opportunities’ obtained through crowd sourcing.
Numerous innovative suggestions have been received and only the short listed best suggestions were discussed with the CM.
One of the suggestion was to make minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in private sector compulsory before being employed in a Government service.
Many entrepreneurial ideas were also received as part of this drive.
CM was also briefed on other projects entrusted to EDC like convention centre, EDC Enclave at IDC Verna, Incubation Centre, progress of CMRY scheme, etc.
