Panaji: Former Goa Health Minister Dr Suresh Amonkar succumbed to COVID-19 infection.
He was 68.
“Amonkar was admitted to ESI hospital after diagnosing positive for COVID-19 infection since last week of June. He passed away on Monday evening,” a senior health department official said.
He said that the condition of Amonkar was critical since last few days.
