District Magistrate, South Goa appointed Incident Commanders for various jurisdiction in the State of Goa for the period of 20 days for taking effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 epidemic.
The Commissioner, State Taxes, Shri Hemant Kumar, IAS has been appointed for Salcete Taluka /Jurisdiction, Dy. Conservator of Forests (Headquarters), Dr. N. Palanlikanth, IFS, for Mormugao, Dy. Conservator of Forests (Planning and Statistics), Shri A. Jabestin, IFS for Ponda, Dy. Conservator of Forests (North Goa), Shri Kuldeep Sharma, IFS for Dharbandora, Dy. Conservator of Forests (Research and Utilization Division Margao) Smt. Anisha Kalkoor IFS for Sanguem, Director, Small Savings and State Lottery Director Shri. Santosh Kundaikar for Quepem, Director, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Dipak Dessai, GCS for Canacona, Chief Officer, Municipal Council Margao, Shri Ajit Panchawadkar, GCS for Municipal Council Margao, Chief Officer Municipal Council Mormugao, Shri Gaurish Shankhwalkar, GCS for Municipal Council Mormugao, Deputy Conservator of Forests (Working Plan), Smt. Deep Shikha Sharma, IFS for Municipal Council Ponda.
The above mentioned Incident Commanders will have to ensure the implementation of guidelines and measures issued by Ministry of Home Affairs and State Government towards combating pandemic of COVID-19.
Incident Commanders will have to verify the measures put in place at check posts, verify the status of quarantined individuals, and to Co-ordinate with different line Departments.
