Panaji: The 6th edition of Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association’s (AGDBYA’s) Daivadnya Cricket Cup 2024 was held on 10th & 11th February 2024 at S.A.G ground, Fatorda. The concluding ceremony of the 2 days cricket event was attended by Mr Milind M. Anvekar, Vice President, Open Destinations Infotech Pvt. Ltd., as the Chief Guest and Mr. Harishchandra V. Madkaikar, DY. SP, Goa Police , as the Guest of Honour.
Master Vidhyaat G. Lotlikar, 11 years old student from L.D Samant memorial High school, was felicitated for his outstanding performance in Yoga and Mr. Govind Lotlikar, owner of Infinity Gym, Margao was also felicitated for being the Judge of IBBF National body building.
Total 17 teams from all over Goa took part in this tournament including 2 women’s team. The annual 2 days event aims to bring the people of the community together and gives the youth the platform to showcase their talent in cricket. The Association is also into the round the year social activities like free Health/Medical check up camps, Blood donation camps, distribution of books,Educational help for the needy, Career guidance camps, Children days function etc.
Mr. Prashil Salkar, President-AGDBYA welcomed the guests and other dignitaries and briefed about all the events, activities and other social service carried out by the association throughout the year. Chief Guest Mr Milind M. Anvekar appreciated the efforts of AGDBYA for conducting such types of event professionally and thanked the association for inviting him for such function.
The winning team with the runner-up team and other individuals received trophies from the guests in a grand function that was attended by more than 300 people. The trophies received are as below:-

Miss. Aishani Lotlikar and Mr. Vishal Vernekar compered for the function. Mr Rohit Vernekar, Secretary-AGDBYA gave the vote of thanks. He thanked all the Guests, Teams, Players, Sponsors, Audience, Match officials and all the volunteers present.
