Mardol: A huge crowd gathered at Mardol police station demanding arrest of the real culprit. The crowd gheraoed Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashish Shirodkar, who could not give satisfactory replies to the agitators.
Social activists including Rama Kankonkar, Pratima Coutinho and others were present at the police station.
Shirodkar told the crowd that after the accident Paresh and Meghana exchanged their seats. The crowd was not ready to accept the logic of the police.
