Mapusa: The Crime Branch on Wednesday arrested a 28-year-old man from Bengaluru for carrying drugs worth Rs one lakh in Guirim village, near Panaji.
A police spokesman said that Mohammad Rehan (28) from Bilal Nagar, Bengaluru, was arrested near Monte Guirim Ground in Guirim village, North Goa, on Wednesday. The raid was conducted by the Crime Branch, during which they seized 1.02 kg of Ganja worth Rs one lakh from the accused, he said.
The spokesman further stated that the accused has been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
