Panaji: Total 643 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Saturday, taking the total tally to 28,022.
The health department official said that 446 people were recovered on Saturday, after which 21,760 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 2,113 samples were tested of which 643 were tested positive, he said.
In all seven people died on Saturday taking the death toll to 342 in the coastal state.
