Panaji: Goa on Thursday reported 215 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total count to 5,704, a Health official said.
A total of 221 people were discharged during the day, taking the number of recovered cases to 4,005 and that of active cases to 1,657, he added.
Three people succumbed to the infection during the day including 80, 71 and 62 year old men.
“A total of 6611 samples were tested on Thursday, of which 215 returned positive and 1564 negative. Result of 4,832 samples are awaited,” the official said.
