Covid-19: Three remains admitted in isolation of GMCH

Panaji: Even as Goa reported no postive case for Coronavirus infection till date, three suspects continue to remain in hospital isolation at state run facility, health department official said.

State health department official said that three suspected patients are admitted at Goa medical college and hospital’s isolation ward.

In all eleven suspected patients remain to be quarantined at different facilities started by Goa government and 17 are under Home quarantine.

State chief minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday admitted that there are several Goans who were working out of the state and have returned recently, are yet to get themselves tested for the infection.

He appealed them to approach the health department and get themselves tested to ensure that they are not infected.

Meanwhile, 16,889 passengers were screened at Goa airport including 257 on Sunday.
