Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 79 and reached 50,143 on Monday, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 723 as two of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 48,479 with 108 of them getting discharge on Monday. The number of active cases is now 941, the official said.
“A total of 1460 samples were tested during the day,” he added.
