Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 70 and reached 53,047 on Tuesday, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 763 as one of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 51,510 with 62 of them getting discharged on Tuesday. The number of active cases is now 774, the official said.
“With 1,476 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,42,488,” he added.
