Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 42 and reached 53,880 on Sunday, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 772 as two of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 52,347 with 48 of them getting discharged on Sunday. The number of active cases is now 761, the official said.
“With 1,017 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,62,011,” he added.
