Panaji: AAP Spokesman Cecile Rodrigues, who is contesting from Taleigao constituency, is amongst the candidates who are officially supported by Congress party for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat election.
Rodrigues has been active on AAP platforms, and is currently contesting the ZP polls as an independent candidate.
Congress has released list of independent candidates it has supported for December 12 ZP election which includes the name of Rodrigues. “Unity in diversity is our identity, Saving Goa is our priority,” the advertisement reads.
The Congress’s act comes few days after rebel AAP leader Elvis Gomes had termed Arvind Kejriwal led party as B-team of the BJP.
