Panaji: Congress party has said that they are opposing setting up of a private medical college in new district hospital in Margao.
Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Girish Chodankar told reporters that the party will oppose any attempt to privatize public utility services.
He laid scathing attack on Health Minister Vishwajit Rane.
“Vishwajit rane is doing it as a business. We are warning him against doing so. He cannot do it at a cost of public,” Chodankar said.
“You cannot have privatization of education. Your government should first have policy decision on privatization of public services. You have to come clean on this,” he added.
