Panaji: In view of rising COVID19 cases, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant shall not be celebrating his Birthday tomorrow on 24 April 2021.
“We are battling Covid19 pandemic due to which we need to observe self-restraint hence I won’t be celebrating my birthday this year” said Chief Minister in a Facebook Post.
To avoid any public gathering, the Chief Minister shall neither be available at his residence in Sankhali nor at his Official Residence at Panaji nor at the Office in Secretariat, Porvorim for any personal greetings.
“I request the public to not to visit or gather at the above locations to greet me. However, I welcome greetings via SMS/Whatsapp.”
The Chief Minister as usual will dedicate his day in service of the people and focus on the fight against COVID19 in the state.
CM also informed that one can also contribute to CHIEF MINISTER RELIEF FUND GOA on his birthday by donating on A/C No. 10294307544 (SBI, Secretariat Branch)
