Panaji: Chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant will be placing the state budget on February 8 during the upcoming session of the state legislative assembly.
Talking to reporters after attending the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), Sawant said that he would be presenting the state Budget on February 8.
The Budget session will begin on February 2 with the speech of Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai.
Speaker of the assembly Ramesh Tawadkar said that the business of February 6 has been shifted to February 10 due to scheduled arrival of PM Narendra Modi in the state.
Modi would be in Goa on February 6 to attend India Energy Week during which he will also address a function in Margao town of South Goa.
