Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte on Friday said that CM Pramod Sawant must firmly ask the government not to restart flights for non-Goans coming to Goa till stranded Goans are brought back.
Khaunte tweeted “The CM must firmly ask the government not to restart flights for non-Goans coming to Goa till stranded Goans are brought back home on priority and the situation is under control. Time to be firm and decisive.”
“@goacm must put aside his fragile ego and for once, just think about betternment of our people. Goans stranded abroad and within the country are still clueless about their return back home.”
In yet another tweet, Khaunte said “Tamil Nadu has written to the Centre not to have flights from Chennai till May end, Maharashtra has gotten inter district train travel cancelled. But our govt has not even considered any request of this sort to make sure Goa remains Green Zone!”
