Panaji: Within hours of arriving in Goa, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has been flown to Mumbai for medical purpose.
The Chief Minister had arrived from the USA last evening where he had flown on August 10 for follow up treatment in a hospital for his pancreatic ailment.
Sources stated that he was flown to Mumbai and would be at Lilavati Hospital for check up.
Parrikar after his arrival from the USA via Mumbai last evening had carried urn of Ashes of fomer Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Chief Minister drove to his personal residence after coming to Goa and has not attended office since then.
Earlier, Parrikar was in the USA for three months and had returned in the last week of June.
