Panaji: Environment Minister Nilesh Cabral has sought appointment of Union Minister for MOEF Prakash Javdekar seeking his intervention for amending the CRZ notification 2011 as requested by the State.
Cabral has written letter to Javdekar on October 31.
He has requested to ensure that the meeting is attended by Secretary MOEF, Director NCSCM and other concerned Ministry officials.
Cabral said that NGT has granted time till November 15 to the State to finalize the CZMP 2011 and for this purpose the amendments as requested are of utmost importance and time is of essence.
“Therefore, I plan to make a visit to Delhi to meet you personally and seek kind intervention in the matter,” he said in the letter.
