Margao: Social worker Auda Viegas, who was actively involved in the investigation of cases against serial killer Mahanand Naik, has penned a book narrating his history.
Viegas was the one who supported the rape victim who filed the first case against Mahanand at Ponda police station. The interrogation of Mahanand unearthed several other cases. She is the lone surviving victim of Mahanand.
While the convict remains behind bars at Central Jail, Colvale, the book written by Viegas will take readers down memory lane.
