Panaji: While welcoming the decisions to augment infrastructure projects in the state through central funding, BJP Goa State Executive on Sunday condemned the opposition parties including Congress for its machinations and false propaganda against the BJP Government.
The state executive was addressed by senior party leaders including Union Minister Giriraj Singh, BJP state desk incharge C T Ravi, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, BJP Goa President Sadanand Shet Tanavade and other leaders.
In a political resolution adopted, the state executive resolved that the success of all the proactive decisions taken by the BJP Government have left the opposition red-faced.
“They have also been trying to oppose many of the infrastructure projects which BJP Government have undertaken with Central assistance like infrastructure develop in roads, railways, power etc,” it adds.
BJP has said that such projects are necessary for the development of the State and to provide employment to the youth of Goa as also to provide basic facility to the citizens of the State.
“The result of the ZP elections have proved that to majority of the Goans these development projects is not an issue that is being made of by the opposition parties and the vested interests and the Government is committed to complete the projects for the benefit of the people of Goa,” the resolution adds.
The State Executive of the Bharatiya Janata Party condemns the Congress and other opposition parties for its machinations and false propaganda against the BJP Government, it added.
