Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte who is extensively campaigning for his candidates in Succoro and Pehna de Franca Zilla Panchayat constituencies have alleged that BJP had imported the candidates in these constituencies.
Khaunte said that the BJP cadres were sidelined while importing the candidates in these constituencies to suit the requirement of party leader and minister Michael Lobo.
Speaking on Prime TV’s show “Prime Encounter”, Khaunte also alleged that the association between Lobo and the candidate in Succoro smacks of land grab racket.
The former Revenue minister also termed Lobo as “joker in politics who is entertaining people.”
He said that the people have stopped taking Lobo seriously.
