Panaji: BJP is facing backlash on social media from its own party workers over induction of Roy Naik, son of Congress MLA Ravi Naik.
The news cuttings about BJP demanding CBI inquiry against Roy for his alleged involvement in policemen-politician-drug paddler nexus are being circulated widely. BJP Goa chief Sadanand Shet Tanavade by claiming that his party had never said “Roy Ravi Naik” was involved in the drug scandal has added fuel to the fire.
“Each time I feel BJP Goa cannot stoop any lower, they surprise me by their brazen shamelessness. No wonder loyal karyakartas like me sound like critics while Governor of the state sounds like Leader of Opposition!!,” Giriraj Pai Vernekar posted on FB.
Vernekar had been a part of Manohar Parrikar team that worked for reviving agricultural sector in the state.
BJP’s Panaji based leader Vishnu Naik posted “Atala and Dudu henka Shradh Ghalpachi Garaj asa, Bhivpachi Garaj Naa. BJP Goa new Entries.”
Pranav Savardekar posted on his FB account “Sadanad Shet Tanavade sir, was Shri Roy Ravi Naik ‘framed’ by late Shri Manohar Parrikar for political gains as alleged by Shri Ravi S Naik?.”
