Panaji: Almost two months after their entry into BJP, Panaji MLA Atanasio alias Babush Monserrate, St Andre MLA Francis Silveira and Cuncolim MLA Clafasio Dias are rewarded with chairmanships of various planning authorities.
Monserrate is reappointed as chairman of Greater Panaji Planning and Development Authority (GPPDA). He had resigned from the post in run up to Panaji by-elections held in May.
Silveira is appointed as chairman of North Goa Planning and Devlopment Authority.
Cuncolim MLA Clafasio Dias has been appointed chairman of the Mormugao Planning and Development Authority.
Gazette notification in this regard was issued on Thursday.
