Panaji: Social activist Kashinath Shetye in full form with his video series ‘Kiten Challa Re.’
This time, Shetye has released a video of how newly constructed culvert at Campal which was inaugurated by chief minister Manohar Parrikar is beneficial to a star hotel.
The social activist has shown how the star hotel has purchased the adjoining land creating another entrance for it from the culvert. He claims that the culvert is more beneficial to the star then the locals.
To support his claim, he has shown how the earlier arrangement of 18th June Road connecting to the D Bandodkar road in the city has been blocked with the wall so that the vehicles are discouraged to take the lane leading towards culvert.
Shetye has claimed that such an arrangement has created more traffic load on the St Inez Junction. The video also shows the gate of the hotel, which he claims, has been constructed illegally.
He has sought answer from the GSIDC.
