Panaji : The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Goa has extended its support to farmers’ call for Bharat Bandh on September 27. “We will also have a Dharna on 30th September at Azad Maidan,”informed trade union leader Christopher Fonseca in a press conference addressed today.
All over India, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has called for a ‘Bharat bandh’ on September 27 to protest against the Centre’s alleged draconian three farm laws.
Samyukta Kisan Morcha said, “This would include all government and private offices, all educational and other institutions, all shops, industries and commercial establishments, all public events and functions. Public and private transport shall also come to a halt during this period”
More than 90 organizations , composed of national and regional political parties, trade unions, farmers’ associations, youth, labourers, students among others, will participate in the ‘Bharat Bandh’ on September 27th, which has been called by the SKM.
