Panaji: The opposition MLAs in the Goa legislative Assembly will meet on January 8, Monday to discuss a common strategy for the upcoming session, scheduled to begin from February 2 onwards.
Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao said that the meeting of the opposition MLAs has been called on Monday, January 8 at 4.30 pm at Porvorim.
He said that all the opposition parties have been invited to attend the meeting which will discuss about a common strategy to be adopted on the floor of the House.
Alemao said that before the meeting, the Congress Legislative Party will meet at 3 pm at Porvorim.
The six-day budget session of the Goa legislative assembly will begin on February 2.
Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai has summoned the assembly session. During the session the governor will address the members of the House on the achievements of the state government.
