Aam Aadmi Party expressed shock at the passing away of former speaker Anant Shet. Aap Convenor Elvis Gomes described him as a person with great humility who was more of an ‘Aam Aadmi’ in the BJP.
“I have had interactions with Mr Shet a couple of times both when he was the Dy Speaker as well as Speaker. He was a good human being first and a politician last” said Gomes
